INsight / Into the Core
/Manila, 8 March 2026 — What does it take to move from the edge of a Community of Practice into its core?
Leadership grows faster when we practice together.
Story
Last week, during one of our community sessions, a participant shared a small breakthrough about practicing a new leadership behavior.
Others responded with acknowledgement, curiosity, and reflection. Within minutes the conversation deepened—far beyond what any lecture or article could achieve.
A simple insight surfaced. Communities deepen when people learn with each other, not only from each other.
Challenge
But this depth never appears automatically. Every community needs a few people willing to hold the center—asking questions, noticing patterns, welcoming contributions.
Active members matter. They show up. They share stories. They experiment.
Joining a community is easy. Stepping into its core is a choice.
Question
So here is my question for you this week: what would it take for you to move closer to the core of a leadership community? What commitment would help you contribute more openly—through stories, experiments, or reflections?
Communities of practice do not grow through content. They grow through contribution.
What is one contribution you could make this week?
