ACTivity/ Celebrating Leadership Challenges

In your comfort zone, there is no growth.

Manila, 29 August 2024 — Up for a leadership challenge? We are celebrating.

Story

It happened five years ago this month. We founded Grow3Leaders as an international community of practice for leaders who want to take on the world’s biggest sustainability challenges, starting by leading a positive change in their workplace.

Sustainability practitioners from around the world have taken leadership challenges in Grow3Leaders. With options ranging from The Workplace Challenge of six weeks to the Trusted Leaders Challenge of 12 months, they can choose to engage in either a short ‘sprint’ or a longer ‘marathon.’

This month we are celebrating the success of the graduates of these challenges. Some went on to create the One Million Leaders Asia program. Others decided to grow more leaders in their company, or to showcase inter-continental leadership in their organization. We are proud of our graduates and the changes they are leading.

Challenge

Taking a leadership challenge in Grow3Leaders starts with inviting three colleagues to join you. Together, you form a Collab to lead a positive change. We found that practicing leadership in a Collab is more effective, fast, and fun than learning by yourself.

When you join, we encourage you to act Crossgen: to form your Collab with members from two or more generations. That helps to accelerate results by bringing together colleagues from Gen Z, Y, X, and Boomer generations in your workplace to create better solutions in collaboration.

Among the new challenges we launched this year is one to get certified in using a coaching style in your workplace conversations, and another to develop Crossgen leadership. Grow3Leaders members earn digital credential badges for the challenges they complete.

Question

Are you up for a leadership challenge? When you apply, we expect that you commit yourself to leading a positive change in your workplace together with your Collabmates.

What we offer is different from training courses. We use research that shows how most of your leadership growth will come from taking on challenges in combination with training, feedback, and collaboration.

By completing a leadership challenge, members have experienced transformational changes in their life and work. What about you? If you are keen and have questions, set up a free strategy call to let us know about the change you want to lead in your workplace.
