Story
It happened over the past five years. After running leadership challenges for Collabs since 2019, we observed how some participants stood out. They experienced truly transformational changes in their work, starting in themselves. How did they do it? What did they do that was different from the others? One thing.
Before sharing what that one thing is, let’s recap how our leadership challenges and coaching programs are different from the leadership events and online courses that you are already familiar with. Instead of teaching and telling you what to do, we coach you through a transition that starts in yourself and your team. We call it Transformation First, and you are in the diver’s seat.
When you join, you grow with our evidence-based approach to leadership development. Whether you succeed will depend on one thing, as we have observed. This was summed up powerfully by Marshall Goldsmith, the world’s top executive coach: some people will do the work and others won’t. The one thing that makes the difference is that you show up daily and do the work. It’s that simple.
Challenge
At the end of this month on September 30th, we start our final 2024 run of The Workplace Challenge. If you want to show up as a leader who drives change and grows leaders around you in your workplace, then you don’t want to miss out on this opportunity. The challenge starts now, with you inviting three of your trusted, enthusiastic, and open-minded colleagues to join you and form a Collab.
Together, you will drive a positive change in your workplace in just six weeks. As you stretch yourselves in your Collab, you will achieve in six weeks what takes most organizations several years to accomplish. By practicing to show up with effective leadership behaviors every day, you will experience progress from the get go. What will make the difference is that one thing: that you show up daily and do the work.
After inviting three colleagues to join you, we set up a meet-and-greet call to get to know each other and answer your questions about the challenge. To start successfully and stay on track during the challenge, we ask that your Collab meet up daily for 15 minutes at work and use the Mighty app every day to share what you learn with fellow leaders in our Grow3Leaders community of practice.
