Ubud, 16 May 2024 — Become a changemaker in six weeks starting in June by taking The Workplace Challenge. 

Story

It happened since 2019. Well over a hundred professionals from more than 25 countries discovered how to become changemakers in just six weeks by joining a challenge as a Collab of four colleagues. They created a positive change together in their workplace by learning, and then practicing, a set of effective leadership behaviors. The challenge they took in the Grow3Leaders community accelerated their leadership growth. Their Collabs turned into active teams of leaders.

All of the positive changes created by the Collabs during the challenge were part of their work. That also applies to The Workplace Challenge starting in June. What change do you want to drive in your workplace? Examples of earlier changes included getting buy-in for new company guidelines for project management; mobilizing funding partners for stormwater management; and introducing cross-generational communication in their Collabs. 

What’s even more impactful is what happened afterward. Many graduates and their Collabmates continued their leadership journey by driving more positive changes. Some became coaches. Others created the One Million Leaders Asia Fellowship Program across 24 Asia-Pacific countries. One Collab stepped up to deliver the 2023 Young Bridging Leaders Challenge across five countries. Others expanded their executive roles from country management to strategic leadership and collaboration among Asian countries.

Challenge

What change will you create in your workplace? The stories of change created by the earlier Collabs are truly inspiring. So what is the secret sauce of Grow3Leaders? We can summarize what sets The Workplace Challenge apart from courses by highlighting three differences. 

First, you invite three colleagues to form a Collab and take the challenge together. This is very different from joining a course individually. Second, with the resources we provide you, you quickly learn to show up at your work with effective leadership behaviors frequently. The entire challenge is focused on helping you practice effective leadership behaviors.

Third, you and your Collab drive a positive change that is a part of your work, instead of exploring a hypothetical case offered to you in a course. Your challenge takes place entirely in your workplace. Every minute you invest will make you a better leader at work, including the sharing of experiences with fellow leaders in the Grow3Leaders community of practice who are pursuing their own changes in their workplaces. 

Question

Our next run of The Workplace Challenge starts in June. Applications are open now. After you—and your three Collabmates you invite to join—purchase your monthly membership plans, you will be asked five questions to test your preparedness. After your application is approved, you will introduce your Collab in Grow3Leaders on Monday 3 June. The Workplace Challenge then starts on 10 June and finishes on 19 July. 

We can’t wait to see your application to join us in The Workplace Challenge. Remember that you take the challenge as an integral part of your work. We expect that you will invest a minimum of 15 min with your Collab on weekdays and share your experiences in our Grow3Leaders community of practice so that we all learn out loud together.
